These figures are planning estimates for mobilizing government, partner, community and other resources. They are not an approved or funded budget.

Funding & Accountability

The plan will require resources from multiple sources, including the Constituency Development Fund, national and state government, county and Payam administrations, humanitarian and development partners, local and national businesses, the diaspora, and community contributions. New projects will be added only when their funding is identified.

How Progress Will Be Accounted For

  • Annual progress reporting showing each project, its status and what remains to be completed.
  • Independent audits of funds mobilized and spent through the constituency.
  • Community oversight committees involving chiefs, elders, women, youth and church leaders.
  • A public project register showing project sites, contracts, contractors, funding sources and obligations.
  • Continuity and handover, so projects and records are transferred properly if another MP is elected.

The 10-year plan is intended to continue beyond one parliamentary term. Development projects should serve the people of Tonj East regardless of who holds office.
